What is the "Provocative Questions" Initiative?

The Provocative Questions initiative was established in 2011 to stimulate research in perplexing and underexplored areas identified by the cancer research community. In late 2018 and early 2019 the NCI hosted the most recent series of workshops to discuss potential focus areas for a new set of provocative questions. Check out the funding opportunities for the chosen questions for R01 type grants and R21 type grants to help us find the answers!
